I have an organic sprung hub clutch disk in my 1988 RX-7 Turbo. The car produces a dyno proven 274ft/lb of torque at the wheels and yet this clutch refuses to slip. A night of drag racing which involved at least 14 passes down the track, some of them BACK TO BACK with hard slips off the line (which resulted in a 60 time of 1.9 on STREET TIRES) The clutch handled it all, and is still providing me with driving enjoyment even after 3 years of abuse. Stage 5 Clutch Kit
It was time to replace the clutch in my Honda. I ordered the Stage 5 Clutch Kit again as I had put one in a friend’s car last year without issue. He was very impressed. I had a Competition Clutch Stage 4 in my built NA k series. after 10k miles it broke by the springs on the hub. I was going to get another disc until a friend mentioned California Custom Clutch. I looked them up, and ordered a Stage 4 clutch kit. and have never had a problem. currently im making just over 480whp and over 300trq. This clutch holds the power great! no problems! I replaced the clutch in my Mustang at the beginning of the season last year and was a little skeptical about the lower price, I had always used ACT but these outlasted them already. After racing around the blistering summer heat here in GA all summer it is still fresh and tight. I just bought another set for my son’s Accord also.
